Tenement Life North of Liberty: Under 40 Tour

  • Findlay Market Beer Garden Elder at Elm Street (1801 Elm Street) Cincinnati, OH 45202 (map)

Do you know what a tenement is or how people lived in them? Our North of Liberty Young Professionals Tour brings participants through Over-the-Rhine, north of Liberty Street, paying special attention to how people lived in this neighborhood in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The tour focuses on the built environment including outdoor toilets, bathing, water access and daily living and working conditions in densely crowded tenement apartments. This tour begins at the Findlay Market  Beer Garden and concludes with a happy hour at Schwartz's Point Jazz Club from 7-8:00pm. This tour is funded by Artswave and is for participants under 40 years old.
